Our story
For my grandmother, then for everyone.
Sollund started as an idea to help my grandmother reminisce, using all of the great photos that we had as a family. She has been living with dementia for the last seven years, and watching her light up at an old photograph is what set this whole thing in motion.
I started building Sollund with her in mind. What would she most want to remember about our time together? What would she want to see every time she opened the app? Those two questions still shape everything we make, for her and for every family like ours.
